1. About Us

Evolvable Academy is a trading name of FCS Consulting Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17291991), 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Email: info@evolvableacademy.co.uk.

2. Enrolment and Payment

By completing the enrolment form and making payment, you are entering into a binding contract with Evolvable Academy for the specific course you have enrolled on. Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or first instalment where applicable).

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Current pricing is as follows:

• Self-Employment Academy courses — £97 to £297 per person per course (pay per enrolment)
• ESOL — 8-week cohort — £149 per person (one-off payment or instalment options available at checkout)
• Business English community membership — £69 per month (cancel anytime)
• Modern Foreign Languages community membership — £69 per month (cancel anytime)
• 1-to-1 sessions — £55 per session (add-on — payable at time of booking)

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card or bank details.

3. Instalment Payments

Instalment options are available for eligible courses at checkout. Where an instalment plan is selected, the first payment is due at enrolment and confirms your place. Subsequent payments are automatically charged via the card used for the first payment on the schedule shown at checkout. Specific instalment amounts, number of payments, and payment schedules are shown clearly during the checkout process.

If any scheduled instalment payment fails, access to sessions may be suspended until payment is received. Students remain liable for the full course fee under the instalment plan selected regardless of attendance after the mid-point of the course.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Academy courses (pay per course)

• Full refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the first session
• 50% refund if cancelled between 3 and 7 days before the first session
• No refund if cancelled within 3 days of the first session or after the course has begun

ESOL cohorts

• Full refund (or cancellation of instalment plan) if cancelled more than 7 days before the first session
• No refund after the first session has taken place. Any remaining instalment payments (where applicable) remain due under the plan selected at checkout.

Language school membership (Business English and MFL)

• Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No partial-month refunds.
• To cancel your membership, email info@evolvableacademy.co.uk at least 5 days before your next billing date.

Cancellation by Evolvable Academy

If we cancel a course or cohort for any reason, you will receive a full refund within 10 working days. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule rather than cancel where possible.

5. Student Conduct

All students are expected to treat fellow students, teachers, and facilitators with respect at all times. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, harassment, bullying, or abusive behaviour in any form — whether in live sessions, community platforms, or direct communications.

We reserve the right to remove any student from a course without refund if their conduct is found to be in breach of this policy. Our decision in such matters is final.

Students must not record, share, or reproduce any live session content, course materials, or other intellectual property without our prior written consent.

6. Safeguarding

Evolvable Academy takes the safety of all students — particularly those under 18 — extremely seriously. We operate a formal Safeguarding Policy available on our website. All teachers and facilitators hold a current enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Live sessions are conducted via Zoom. No one-to-one private communication between teachers and students takes place outside the designated platform. Session recordings are stored for a maximum of 30 days for safeguarding purposes only and then permanently deleted.

All Evolvable Academy courses — Self-Employment Academy and Language School — are restricted to students aged 18 and over. This age requirement reflects both the third-party platforms our academy students use during their courses (Stripe, Shopify, Meta Ads, Amazon Seller Central, and others which have a minimum age of 18) and our consistent standard of adult-only enrolment across the school. Proof of age may be requested at enrolment.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, session content, workbooks, slides, exercises, and other content produced by Evolvable Academy are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright. Students are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use course materials for their own learning only.

You must not share, reproduce, sell, or distribute course materials to any third party without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Evolvable Academy's liability to you in connection with any course is limited to the fees paid by you for that specific course. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your participation in or withdrawal from any course.

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or employment results from completing any of our courses. Course content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Changes to Courses

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, session times, teachers, or delivery format where necessary. We will give you as much notice as possible of any significant changes. If a change materially affects your ability to participate, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case local courts may also apply.
